A little Colorectal Humor

I don't mean to make light of my situation, but I think having a good sense of humor about it is going to be important.

My brother Zach sent this funny song....it made Justin and I laugh, and we will probably be humming it for the next few months :)

I haven't quite figured out how to post the video to the page directly...

Susan,
I want you to know that I will be thinking about you and you will be in our prayers.

I remember last year at this time is when we found out that my brother had cancer so I know how your family is feeling and the stress your parents (and of course you & Justin) are experiencing.

Good luck the next few months as you try to figure out the best treatment for you. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Susan, Jake and I have been praying for you everyday. We are so inspired by your positive attitude! I worked as a nurse at Mayo Cinic AZ, and I can tell you that the Mayo Clinic is an amazing organization! They have amazing research and technology and some of the most gifted surgeons, doctors, and nurses in the world. What a blessing that they could get you in so quickly. We care so much about you and would do anything for you. Please let us know if you need ANYTHING.

Susan, I was just checking to see if you had any new posts and I ran across my last comment. I can't believe I put 'toon' for 'tune'. Woops! Don't know where that came from. ;)

Hello Susan,
First, congratulations on your semi-recent marriage. I know I'm a little late, but I just heard. It would have been nice to congratulate you under different circumstances but congratulations nonetheless. After I heard the news, I was reminded of a sermon I once heard in church. The pastor said that God does not give us more to deal with then we’re able to handle. While I can scarcely imagine what you’re going through, I’m also inspired. Judging from the updates on your blog, the words my pastor spoke are certainly true and you are an incredibly strong person. No doubt, your strength and courage will be a key factor in carrying you through this incredibly difficult time. While often difficult to understand, I believe there is a purpose behind events in our lives such as these. I hope in time, when this is behind you, that the reason becomes clearer. Kim and I are praying for you and your entire family and we wish you a speedy and full recovery.
